Our Mission - Fun for the Whole FamilyPress Release September 18, 2008 Subject: Kernel Coopers Corn Maze Closing Due to High Winds On Sunday, September 14, 2008, we here at Kernel Coopers Corn Maze experienced winds in excess of 60 mph. These high winds knocked down a large percentage of the corn within the maze, making most of our paths impassable. We also sustained very heavy damage to our hospitality tent and minor damage to our ticket and concessions buildings. We have given much thought to what action we should take and have decided that we can not offer a positive maze experience to the public this year. We have come to this conclusion with great sadness and regret. We have always prided ourselves here at Kernel Coopers Corn Maze on providing quality and safe family fall fun. And, we feel with this damage this season, we can not provide that. Please look for us next year bigger and better then ever! With sadness, The Family of Kernel Coopers Corn Maze
